T-shirt Designing at the Library

Cricut EasyPress 2

  • This heat press can be used to iron on heat transfer vinyl to make your own custom t-shirts and bags.
  • Cost for materials purchased in The Lab will be paid after your project is complete. You can also bring your own materials.
  • WARNING: This device operates as high temperatures that can cause burns or other injury. Use with cautio

Our Heat Transfer Vinyl can be applied to 100% cotton, 100% polyester, poly/cotton blends, blend, clothing, fabric, leather, etc.

When you make your design in the Silhouette Cameo software, make sure that you mirror (flip) the design before you cut.

When you cut, place the smooth, glossy side down, cutting the matte side. I recommend cutting it twice for easy removal (you can set the Cameo to cut twice while cutting the vinyl). The glossy side is the transfer tape, while the matte side is the vinyl.

While Cameo has settings for heat transfer vinyl, the vinyl works best under alternate settings
