The library will close at 6pm Wednesday, November 27th, and remain closed all day Thursday, November 28th, in observance of Thanksgiving. Normal operating hours will resume on Friday, November 29th.

Event Details

Volunteers grade 9 and up are needed to help with the Human Library event. Email Mrs. Alice J Bisanz, ajbisanz@phpl.info if this is your first time volunteering at the library. 

Volunteers will be doing the following:

  • Handing out and retrieving surveys from attendees who spoke to the Books
  • Walking the Books to the Youth Room for breaks and dinners
  • Running around doing as-needed tasks
