Join John Moore and learn about the Battle of Savo Island against the Japanese that was the worst naval defeat ever suffered by the US Navy. At this battle Iron Bottom Bay received its first ships, the nickname came from all the Japanese and US ships sunk off Guadalcanal in a desperate and savage campaign.
