The library will close at 6pm Wednesday, November 27th, and remain closed all day Thursday, November 28th, in observance of Thanksgiving. Normal operating hours will resume on Friday, November 29th.

Our registration system currently has a glitch where it only allows you to register for the online, if you prefer to join us in the library we will have plenty of seating.

With the creation of the US Steel Company in 1901 Andrew Carnegie became the richest man in the world.  Join John Moore as he shares how Carnegie would spend the last 18 years of his life as a philanthropist giving away his fortune, he will give away over 90% of it.  He will build over 3500 libraries worldwide, 1689 in the US, 105 in Illinois.

John will be presenting in the library.
