Program Description

Event Details

Together with his colleague Camille Pissarro and his dealer Amboise Vollard, Paul Cézanne sought to challenge the conservative art world of late 19th century Paris. Eventually, he moved beyond Impressionism and inspired a new generation of modernists. Art historian Jeff Mishur discusses Cézanne's innovative approach to traditional subjects, including still life, landscape and the nude.

Jeff will be presenting virtually from Zoom.
