Ray Johnson, the History Cop, shares an overview of the amazing world’s fair nicknamed, “The White City” which includes the planning of both the fair proper and the famous Midway Plaisance. What was it like to be a visitor? What could you see? What was new in the fields of Science, Architecture, Art, and Religion, and what were some of the firsts?
Ray Johnson is a former criminal investigator, author, historian, and lecturer. He is the owner and founder of Johnson Research Services and since 2005 has conducted historical research for television production companies, documentarians, authors, attorneys, and family historians. He has been featured on television shows and documentaries on Discovery ID, History Channel, PBS, BBC and has appeared on numerous local television shows and print media.
